Cursolo-Orasso are two small villages with about 90 inhabitants, located in the Cannobina Valley and are part of the Val Grande National Park.
In Orasso there is the parish church of San Materno, dating back to the end of the 16th century, inside a baroque wooden altar, the bell tower, a valuable example of Romanesque style, stands on the square in front of the church.
Outside the built-up area there is an oratory dedicated to the Madonna del Sasso which it preserves among the frescoes considered among the most ancient in the valley].
The small inhabited centre of Cursolo is characterised by a row of buildings facing south, there is a XVII century stately building, called "Palazzetto", the parish church is dedicated to Sant'Antonio Abate.
In the village there is a grocery shop, a bar-restaurant and a small hotel.
The Cannobina Valley and the Val Grande National Park have a rich hiking trail and Cursolo and Orasso are the starting point for endless nature walks.
