Cursolo-Orasso is a municipality of 106 inhabitants, is located in Valle Cannobina and is part of the Comunità Montana Valle Vigezzo. It is located under the rocks of Mount Gridone and part of its territory is included in the Val Grande National Park.
Cursolo and Orasso sunbathe all year round, up there under the rocks of Mount Gridone. The villages are a model of cannobine rural architecture in which local materials (wood, stone and lime) are harmoniously integrated with the environment. Just outside the town of Orasso, along the ancient mule track called "la Borromea" in the direction of Cursolo, there is the small oratory of Sasso, a sixteenth-century building with ancient frescoes.
Thanks to the peace and quiet of the place and the beautiful walks, this village is the ideal destination for all nature lovers.
